Working with beautiful, versatile blackbutt, Ferrier & Co handmade 153 stools for All Hands Brewing House at Darling Harbour.
Located on the King Street docks, the longstanding King St Brewhouse has been reinvented as a modern microbrewery and dining experience. As part of a six-month renovation and refurbishment, Ferrier & Co was approached to build a grand total of 153 stools (our tallest order yet) for the venue’s indoor and outdoor spaces.
‘All Hands’ lays claim to something pretty special – the largest beer garden on Darling Harbour. Designed for durability, our F&Co Outdoor Stools were the perfect choice for this area. We got to work topping each powder-coated stainless steel base with a slatted blackbutt top, ensuring the seats would withstand the sunlight and outdoor conditions of their new waterfront home.
Moving inside, we provided stools in three heights (450mm, 650mm and 750mm), using blackbutt to complement the venue’s long timber-topped tables and exposed copper piping. Mild steel finished in blue ridge, transformer grey, and yellow gold was chosen for the stool frames, adding small yet vibrant splashes of colour throughout the bar area.
